The Forest Theater had been the beacon of cultural unity in the heart of sunny South Dallas for generations since its founding in 1949 by Karl Hoblitzelle. Over the years the Forest theater had since been revitalized and remodeled for the community. Forest Forward is an organization that works with the community to combat the causes and effects of systemic inequities through neighborhood revitalization to accelerate the advancement of marginalized people.
